Lay the belt flat without stretching it. Measure from the point where the buckle tongue rests against the buckle to the hole used most often.

No belt to measure?
Measure where the belt will sit.
Thread a flexible tape through the belt loops of the pants that will be worn. Pull it comfortably snug, record where it overlaps, and do not add extra inches unless the product listing says to.
Important: Do not measure a bare waist unless that is exactly where the belt will be worn.
